How “Hitoriikura” (the Service) handles your information.
This is a translation. The Japanese version is the authoritative text — if the two differ, the Japanese version applies.
The Service needs no account and collects nothing that identifies you.
The amounts, the number of people and the names you enter are not sent to a server. The operator cannot see them.
The Service has no database.
They are saved in your browser on this device (localStorage) so you can pick up where you left off. Press “Clear everything”, or clear your browser's site data, and they are gone.
If you create a share link, what you entered is placed inside the URL. The URL is not recorded on the server (the part after “#” is never sent to it).
A share link containing names can be read by anyone who has the link. Check who you are sending it to.
The Service does not contact anything to do its calculations. It only loads the files the page needs — HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images — from its own delivery server. No advertising or analytics scripts are loaded.
The Service uses no cookies, and no analytics are installed. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name the tool and the purpose.
To keep the Service running and to prevent misuse, the delivery server may temporarily record access times and requests. These are used only for statistics and for fixing faults.
If you make a contribution, payment takes place on a page operated by Stripe. Stripe handles card details; the Service does not receive them. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how they handle your information.
This policy may be updated. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
